Your class has attended a panel discussion on the alternative energy sources that cities should invest in for a sustainable future. Now, your tutor has asked you to write an essay.
'Solar panels can be easily integrated into existing residential buildings.'
'Wind turbines require massive spaces and can negatively impact local wildlife.'
'Hydroelectric facilities provide steady power but demand vast ecological disruption during building.'
Write an essay for your tutor discussing two of the aspects in your notes. You should explain which alternative energy source is the most viable for urban areas and provide reasons to support your opinion.
You may, if you wish, make use of the opinions expressed in the discussion, but you should use your own words as far as possible.
