Your class has attended a seminar examining the effects of consumerism and fast fashion on the global environment. Now, your tutor has asked you to write an essay.
'It takes thousands of liters of precious water just to manufacture a single cotton t-shirt.'
'People throw clothes away after just a few wears, filling dumps with synthetic fabrics.'
'Untreated toxic wastewater from dye factories is regularly dumped directly into rivers.'
Write an essay for your tutor discussing two of the aspects in your notes. You should explain which effect is the most critical to address immediately and provide reasons to support your opinion.
You may, if you wish, make use of the opinions expressed in the discussion, but you should use your own words as far as possible.
