Your class has watched a video debate concerning the consequences of the decline of traditional news outlets like newspapers and local TV. Now, your tutor has asked you to write an essay.
'Without editors verifying facts, social media has turned into a breeding ground for fake news.'
'Deep investigative reports take months and massive budgets that online blogs simply cannot afford.'
'When local papers close, minor community events and local politics get completely ignored.'
Write an essay for your tutor discussing two of the aspects in your notes. You should explain which consequence is the most damaging to modern society and provide reasons to support your opinion.
